A Newly Developed Pill That Could End Hair Loss

New hair loss treatment pill to cure baldness

HR23+ Updates Its Hair Growth Supplement Formula – What's Changed and Does It Work?

Since its launch in 2015, HR23+ has become one of the UK's best-known non-medical hair supplements for men and women experiencing thinning hair. Rather than relying on prescription medication, the formula combines carefully selected vitamins, minerals and botanical extracts designed to support healthy hair growth and reduce excessive shedding.

Now, after years of customer feedback and ongoing product development, the HR23+ formula has been refined once again.

The changes aren't dramatic—and that's intentional. When a product is already delivering strong results for many users, there's little sense in reinventing it. Instead, the latest version focuses on strengthening some of the ingredients believed to have the greatest impact on healthy hair growth.

Why update a formula that's already working?

Hair loss research is constantly evolving. New studies emerge every year, ingredient dosages are continually reassessed, and long-term customer feedback provides valuable insight into what appears to work best in the real world.

According to the HR23+ development team:

"We're always looking for ways to improve the formula without compromising what has made HR23+ successful. Every ingredient is there for a reason, but over time we've found that certain botanical extracts appear to provide greater support for hair health than some traditional vitamins. The latest version reflects that ongoing research."

Rather than increasing the number of ingredients, the developers chose to improve the balance of the existing formula.

What has changed?

The updated HR23+ formula includes several refinements:

The thinking behind these changes is straightforward.

While vitamins remain important for overall health, the HR23+ team believes the formula performs best when greater emphasis is placed on botanical extracts traditionally associated with supporting healthy hair growth.

Saw Palmetto remains one of the supplement's cornerstone ingredients because of its popularity among people looking for a natural approach to managing androgenetic hair loss. Horsetail Extract has also been included because it naturally contains silica, a mineral associated with maintaining healthy hair structure.

The remainder of the formula continues to include a broad range of ingredients such as biotin, zinc, folate, ginkgo biloba, nettle leaf extract and other nutrients chosen to support normal hair growth.

Does HR23+ actually work?

No hair supplement can honestly claim to cure baldness, and HR23+ doesn't make that claim.

Hair loss is influenced by many factors including genetics, hormones, age, nutrition, stress and certain medical conditions. For some people, prescription treatments such as finasteride or minoxidil may be appropriate. Others prefer to begin with a non-medical approach.

HR23+ is designed for people looking to support healthier hair growth naturally, particularly during the earlier stages of thinning hair.

According to company customer outcome data collected over many years, approximately 9 in 10 users reported visible improvements in their hair after using HR23+ consistently for between 3 and 12 weeks. As with any supplement, individual results vary depending on the cause and severity of hair loss.

Is HR23+ an alternative to finasteride?

This is one of the questions the company receives most frequently.

The simple answer is that HR23+ is not a replacement for prescription medication.

Finasteride is a licensed medicine that works by blocking the conversion of testosterone into DHT. It requires medical consideration because it can cause side effects in some users.

HR23+ takes a different approach. It is a food supplement that combines botanical extracts, vitamins and minerals to support normal hair health. Many people choose it because they want a non-prescription option or wish to complement their existing hair care routine.

Why starting early matters

Regardless of which treatment you choose, one principle remains consistent throughout hair loss research—the earlier you address thinning hair, the better your chances of preserving existing follicles.

Once a hair follicle has been inactive for a prolonged period, encouraging it to produce healthy hair again becomes increasingly difficult. Acting during the early stages of hair thinning generally offers the greatest opportunity for maintaining fuller-looking hair over the long term.

Ongoing development

One aspect that has always separated HR23+ from many supplements is its commitment to continual improvement. Rather than leaving the formula unchanged for years, the company regularly reviews new research, ingredient quality and customer feedback to ensure the product continues to evolve.

The latest formulation reflects that philosophy: not a complete redesign, but a series of carefully considered refinements intended to build on an already well-established formula.

For anyone looking for a natural, non-medical hair supplement for men or women, the updated HR23+ formula represents the company's latest step in supporting healthier, stronger-looking hair without relying on prescription medication.

  3. Used this supplement since 2016, took a few months to set in but I am pleased with it. I'm now in my 50s and have managed to maintain a good head of hair, which I never thought possible 10 years ago as I was visibly thinning. I'm always wary when they tweak this supplement but so far so good.

    1. It's just a hair loss prevention supplement, it doesn't claim to be a cure. Plenty of hair loss prevention products out there, nothing new.

  11. I purchased a year's supply, I'm six months in, so far so good. My hair looks and feels thicker and stronger, and it's less prone to shedding. My target was to arrest any excessive hair fall, and these capsules seem to have done that to great effect.
